Is a motorhome one vehicle in VOXCAR, or two?
One. Chassis work and coach work land in the same service history, so the record reads the way the vehicle actually is. If you would rather keep the chassis and the house separate, you can add them as two vehicles instead — there is no limit on how many you add.
What about the car I tow?
Add it. Every vehicle you own can have its own record, and the toad usually needs one as much as the coach does — baseplate and braking installs, tow miles, and the service that goes with them.
I have a travel trailer or a fifth wheel, not a motorhome.
It works the same way. There is no engine to log, but the axles, brakes, tires, roof, appliances and documents all still matter, and the resale case is built on exactly the same evidence.
My spouse drives it as much as I do. Can we both use it?
Yes. Share the coach with them and they get access to the same record — you decide what they are allowed to do with it, and you can change that later. Whoever is standing at the service counter logs the receipt, which is usually whoever happened to make the appointment. The same works for a co-owner, or for the shop that looks after it.
I have ten years of paper receipts. Do I have to start over?
No. Import what you already have from a spreadsheet or another app, and photograph the paper as you get to it. Backfilling a coach a few receipts at a time is how most records get built.
